In a mailed date-correction to a previous annual meeting notice error, a POA Board just invented a new religious holiday, Ash Thursday.

The latest correction mailing states the meeting date was moved a day "in observance of Ash Thursday." The real kicker is one of the Board directors owns a Catholic book store.

Light hearted humor not a strong point?

Roger is not willing to serve on the board himself. Instead his raison d'etre here seems to be to call directors names; to gossip; and to needle.

I get it. Pass the popcorn.

Ash Wednesday is a real (Catholic) thing. The "dodo bird" did a funny, which makes complete sense if he owns a Catholic book store.
