When are development was established we recieved City water and sewer services with the agreement that if City wanted to they could annex into City. Is this good for our
Condominium Owners?

Where do you receive your police and fire protection from? What city ordinances would you have to follow that you presently do not have to?

probably not. Our taxes increased by about 75% and all we got in exchange was free garbage pick up. I compost most stuff and paying an extra $1200 a year for garbage pick up is more than double than I was paying before for garbage pick up. I never call the cops/fire dept. either.

It was good for us. It also meant if our roads had issues they would fix them shortly after taking over we had a 3 foot sink hole in one.

Plus they put up street signs. We can call the police to enforce parking and speeding laws.

Our biggest hiccup was a no parking sign one. We are not allowed to park on the road except one side. Streets too narrow. The city signs would be an eyesore. We instead got our curbs painted red for no parking. Made it look nicer than signs every 6 feet.

Make sure to update your rules to reflect the water or city changes. Need to know who is now responsible for water or other items the city does.
