What are some online or brick and mortar chain retailers where you have purchased commercial quality pool furniture for an HOA pool?

By commercial quality, I am referring to metal and fabric that will withstand years of sun, pool chemicals, body lotions, etc..

Np,

You know posting rules doesn't allow those recommendations.

Provide an email and those that have recommendations can contact you.

You might also consider contacting your local parks department

I was unaware the rules prohibited links to commercial content.

In hindsight, we made the mistake of selling/donating our excellent quality vinyl strapped pool furniture for more modern looking upholstered pool furniture that did not last long.

Do you think it's better financially to buy new commercial grade pool furniture or to reupholster existing pool furniture?

NpB,
I think every board member on this site knows exactly the issue you are having. It is an age-old problem. What we have done here in Texas is buy some very heavy non-wood-based loungers and chairs. They are not the most comfortable chairs, but they have held up well. I also recommend when people complain that they bring Yoga mat pads which are easy to find at $5 below stores. This allows them to bring their own padding and not have to worry about who was sweating on the chairs last. This furniture is very heavy, and this has also kept the young punks from throwing them into the pool at times. It is just too much work for them.

Repairing the netted chairs is very expensive and rarely works for more than an extra season or two.

Our high quality metal furniture is still in excellent shape since new in 2001. It isn't vinyl stopped, but "slung" fabric. The fabric was reslung in '09, '15 and this spring. It is definitely not very expensive The furniture stays out 24/7 in moderate climate with salty air near the bay & ocean. No one has eve thrown it in the pool.
