Hi,

Does anyone have experience with adding motion detection lights in their stairwell?

Suggestions on equipment, cost savings, how did owners react

We have 3 story condo building of 75 units.

Looking at ways to save money in long run.

Right now we have old dome fixtures that we put those mini twist Fluorescent Bulbs in. We buy more expensive LED twist in bulbs. Honestly, we need to upgrade the fixtures also.

You may be required by code to keep the stairs illuminated from dusk to dawn regardless who uses them.

Check With your local building inspector first.

Many utility companies have a energy saver plan where you can purchase fixtures at a great price plus a rebate as well.
Certain condition apply though.
In NH we have a program called NH Saves. There are many vendors to choose from.
