If an HOA member initiates a recall in Arizona and subsequently becomes a Board member is there anything to prevent that individual from provide additional information in support of the recall?

If the info is from documents owners wouldn't have access to, then personal ethics would be the thing that should prevent it.

Pick your battles. One may be able to implement change easier working from within.

As long as the informatoin isn't privileged, In my opinion you should absolutely provide information to owners so that they can make an informed decision when they vote.

what kind of information are you talking about?

We had a situation similar, there was a special meeting called to recall the board. Subsequent to the notice of special meeting, 2 of the owners, who were actually on the proxy sent out with special meeting notice, as candidates to fill the recalled board seats, were appointed by the exisiting board to fill the vacant seats.

This was done because the board subject to recall was trying to stave off a recall vote. The newly appointed board members continued to meet and organize with owners and gather proxies for the special meeting.

It's probably just me, JohnM, but could you rephrase your question? I'm not grasping it.
