Would anybody have referral names of attorneys that will address property (home) owner association matters in northeast Georgia. I'd like to explore others, as alternative to the one we have. If no luck here, then I'll venture to Atlanta area. Thanks, Scott

Any real estate company would know real estate attorneys.

The sponsors of this site have posting rules, one which states that we are not allowed to use names or promote any business. You will need to googl- to find attorneys in your area that specialize in H.O.A.s. Look in the phone book or call another association and ask who they use. SORRY!

I think that you will need a CAI attorney. Real Estate attorneys don't have the expertise in HOA's that the CAI folks have. We have been both routes and the CAI attorneys are more than worth the money they have charged us. I think they have a web site listed on the lower left hand side of this web page.

No, the web site on the lower left hand corner is not what you have named. C.A.I. is a web site dedicated to help the anti Board and association people find answers. It stands for "community association institute" They push for legislation to lessen BOD control and other issues .

You can check the directories at caionline.org to find attorneys that specialize in HOA issues. This is where I would start.
