Max mentioned that he'd be offline for a while a couple of weeks ago.

Max noted, about a month ago or so, that he was having open heart surgery on that Friday. Hope it went OK

I've thought they were the same person, to be honest.

JohnC46, the exchanges between Max and me that you feel were inappropriate have been over since a number of you made it clear how irritating they were. Yet you, childishly, keep raising the issue.

Augistin,
I didn't mind the back and forth between you and Max. In fact, I rather enjoyed the lively discussions. But obviously not everyone on the forum liked it.

I do hope that Max is experiencing a speedy recovery and that he returns to the forum soon.

BobD4 are you thinking that his pot-stirring qualifies as exercise?

Others have picked up his banner in his absence.

Having said all that I hope the operation went well and he's on the mend.

BobD4 are you thinking that his pot-stirring qualifies as exercise ? . . .

Wondering what he had to say about any rectal thermometry required ? Anyway, hoping all is well with him . . . .
