anyone know of a source to create an employee handbook quickly?

Whats the rush? Do you want to put together a good one or slap something together and then spend twice as much time on rewrites and corrections, or out the comments high at risk for writing the wrong type of policies? Slow your roll and do it right the first time.

I googled the topic and there are templates and even YouTube videos on he subject out there. As Henry suggested, you can start with a board template and add information that's specific to your community. You'll also want to have an our association attorney (or one who's good with employment issues) to review it so you don't miss anything or write something that's plain wrong.

Why do you need an employee handbook for a HOA? HOA's are non-profit operated by VOLUNTEERS. The ones that need an employee handbook are the companies the HOA hires. Which is still none of the HOA's business.

You have some research to do to understand how HOA's work. You have it confused with a business.

How does your HOA have employees? Most HOA's do not have direct employees. It's not the best idea to do it.

Think we can all tell at this point we can only provide you answers you want to hear. I'd loan you my mirror but I see you already have one reflecting your own image...

That said, prior to publishing, I would run the handbook by an attorney versed in labor relations to make sure you don't inadvertently create an issue for the Association.
