I want to check if my management company is licensed or if they need to be.

Question: if I may Please:
referencing management companies for HOA. In the state of Colorado. As of this date. Is it required to be licensed through the Colorado division of real estate? Or some other agency in Colorado.

If it is a requirement by law, and that particular license shows inactive status, what does that tell me.

The one I have in hand for our management company shows a status of inactive. But then again I'm new at this.

Please state exactly what the license is for.

Else few states have licensing requirements for HOA/COA managers per se.

Greetings:
a friend help me find this and I'll set this as best I can to print.
I have a picture of a license from the Colorado division of real estate. It is for our present management company and the name is listed, which I don't feel is probably correct to mention it here, the address is given and the license details. License level.
community Association manager.
entry status inactive, it gives the license number. I won't repeat that. Presently, the initial issue date is 3 2018. The day I will hold back on. Address is also listed again gives the phone number of the company. Then at the bottom gives disciplinary actions, no disciplinary actions have been authorized.

The picture of the license is from the Colorado Department of regulatory agencies,, division of real estate, it looks to be an official license to be issued by the state of Colorado and in all shapes and forms. I would not feel comfortable sending an image of this as it might be out of my realm in doing so.
Thanks,
Rich.

Did you try googling? From https://www.vaned.com/index.cfm/fa/cam/fa2/home:

Colorado CAM (Community Association Manager) Licensing

Community Assocation Manager Courses in Colorado
As of July 1st, 2019 Community Association Manager Licensing is not longer required in Colorado. The Colorado Division of Real Estate will no longer provide any services for this program.
