Hello HOATalk, I'm planning to get my basement renovated soon and I'd like to get a better idea as to how much it might cost me so I could prepare better financially. Based on what I read here https://alpinecredits.ca/basement-renovation-cost/, basement renovations cost around $35 - $55 per square foot. Does that number sound about right? I'm planning to get just a basic basement renovation done, I'm not planning to turn it into a basement apartment or something so I'm thinking that it should only cost me around $35 - $40 per square foot. Those who have actually gotten the same type of renovation done, what do you guys think about it? Are those numbers pretty realistic? Any thoughts and input would be very much appreciated.
