I'm the sole resident board member on a newer community whose pool's construction was completed last summer, and because of the pandemic the property management advised against opening it.

This summer we want to open, but I'm pretty new to all of this so I am hoping I can find some fellow Delaware HOA's here who can share what they are doing in order to satisfy state requirements for re-opening their swimming pools.

Thanks in advance.

I don;t think we have any other Delaware posters, David. What are your state's requirements? What about your county's requirements?

Our pool was closed last summer but we are in the process of due diligence to open this summer.

If you do some googling (or calling) your county should have a website that will list COVID guidelines for various venues, including residential community pools. That will give you the relevant guidelines and then your community can determine if they can comply or not.
