has the world gone insane? I just reviewed a website from my former HOA that I left years ago and instead of listing the BOD it now only list's one person(who I had many issues with) as " The Governor " of that HOA!

The jury is still out on the world, but the HOA...?

* Maybe The Governor has run off everyone who would serve on the board.

* Maybe the (functional) board has stopped maintaining the web site altogether and things are humming along just fine while The Governor lives in his own alternate reality.

I lean toward the second. I've come across my share of web sites maintained by cranks who have no idea how any of this stuff works but who are convinced that they are In The Know and need to Get The Word Out.

Sorry to make this assumption but here locally I’ve seen it happen more than I can count: Covid side effect. Everything wrong and illegal within association now acceptable as no timely solution available. Maybe your association has contracted the same side effect. No pun intended.
