So. CA is burning up and blowing away. But the few trees(common area) that are left in our HOA apparently had some big branches that fell,
scratching to HO's vehicles. PM says it's HO's car insurance
that needs to cover any damages. Our trees in HOA are scheduled
for trimming in 2 weeks. These were healthy trees but had branches that
couldn't endure the 50-60 mph winds. Our PM hasn't been correct on a few
other issues so wanted to run this by HOATalk.

More than likely the PM is correct in this situation. No one could have foreseen the winds and the timing to the trees being serviced. The only way that there would be a valid claim against the HOA would be if the HOA ignored a tree in bad condition, and it fell, or branches fell and damaged the vehicle.

Virginia,
I feel more comfortable hearing it from an unbiased source.
And I am glad that the PM got it right.
thanks,
Jackie
