Hello

The board in my community likes to meet in person but the sound quality for residents on zoom is horrific.
Any suggestions?
We have a extra speaker and we have a camera so those not attending may see us.
The CM has the speaker on her table as she will review the motions/discussion as most can here her best.
We are w/in 6-8 feet of each other to social distance.
We can't all be on zoom in the room or we get horrible feedback/echo/reverb.
Residents are allowed to appear in person but may choose not to due to Covid.
I'm hoping someone can recommend a tool to help.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps simple conduct the meeting via phone? Audio would likely be better. Everyone could speak on mic.

Each calls in? or get a conference call speaker tool?
My only concern is our phone numbers being shown on zoom as we had
people in our community prank call a board member when his phone was listed once.
Texting and calling the board member all times of the day and during meetings.
Yes I live in an adult community but sometimes you wouldn't know.

I've done several zoom meetings and didn't see anyone's phone number. There are some virtual systems where you can use video and phone. Maybe you should talk to zooms customer service department who can give you tips on what you could do. Pergaos someone e,se can hold the meeting if they have better equipment.
