Can anyone tell me if there is a time-frame for the Board Package to come from the Management Company to the HOA Board Members. Ten days? We are receiving our Board Package on the day of the meeting. This is in Florida.

Thanks
Pat

Pat, I think about three days is a good timeframe for receiving Board packets. The time should allow for review and preparation balanced against being as up to date as possible. When the MC provides it the day of the meeting why is this acceptable to the Board?

I think I need to find a state statute, if there is one....so we have a leg to stand on.

Pat,

There is no specific law in Florida as to when you should be receiving your management package. The board asks the manager for the package whenever they deem necessary.

We get our packages 3 or 4 days before the monthly BOD meeting. As Roger said, this gives us time to review the package and ask questions so we are not surprised by anything.
