Every once in a while, someone will list a link to a fun story about HOAs (there are a few out there). Bet no one's seen this one before:

So, how would YOUR community address this?

Happy Halloween everyone!

I like it ... 😂

My neighbors all trying to outdo one another with the skeleton thing this year - prices on skeletons must have gone down.

It does reflect the real world ....

Our current board tends to ignore any and all violations, and the community already looks like Big Tony's Tent o' Tacky and Tasteless Trash exploded all over the place. So a stripper skeleton would probably find a home here. (Besides, skeletons have already been "stripped" of all their naughty bits, the actual positions are no different from those seen in a number of sports, it's the pole that's giving people heartburn.)

There was an article in a recent Washington Post about the popularity of 12-foot tall skeletons. The owners even have their own Facebook page. In a community nearby, someone dressed the skeleton in a costume and wired him to light up - he's joined by a circle of life sized witches dancing around a cauldron. No strippers, though. :-)
