Is it adviseable to have a special container(s) for recycling purposes? Right now, there are none.... just a place(dumpsters) for garbage in general

Well of course. Recycling is very comendable. However, who is going to be responsible for this? Harold

JimM10,
I believe that your answer will be either in your County(some ask for recycling) or in your waste removal company.
Will they remove recyclables for no extra fee? Will they provide the container? If these are yes's, then away you go. Post it in a newsletter or at a Board meeting that you are now saving some of the environment by recycling. This is something that you cannot force people to do but hopefully they will.

Jim, it depends. Recycling bins usually add an extra expense; and in some locations there is not a separate dumping area provided even when collected as recyclable material because economics sometimes rules over environmental concerns
