Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes, recently released a brochure entitled ELECTION BROCHURE
FOR CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATIONS. Very informative and thorough review of how condo HOA board elections should take place. Particularly relevant in the age of Covid-19. Here's a link:

Minimal changes from the 2018 version. Good to know there's an "official" update, though.

Read it closely. It is riddled with expressions like: ""Unless otherwise provided in the bylaws"". Do not look for it to override your Bylaws.

Florida has specific procedures and requirements for Condo elections. For HOAs, the statute basically says to follow your own Bylaws' election procedures. Which works out well if your Bylaws are essentialy silent on the subject
