Hi!

Do HOA members need to give a reason when requesting a copy of an executed contract not privileged under law? Is stating that they want a copy for their own records suffice?

We are in central California, Monterey area.

Request it in writing. A good-enuff reason is, I think, "I like to know know how our assessments are being spent."
