Old threads are interesting to read.
Many still contain good information.
Many contain bad information under current laws.

However, it's best not to reactivate old threads for a few reasons:

1) Since laws change, many old threads also contain bad information and this could be an issue for those that don't realize it's an old thread.

2) Depending on the age of the thread, the original poster may no longer be part of the forum or the issue may have already been resolved.

3) The new issue or comment may become lost as many will try to answer the OP, not realizing the thread is old.

If an old topic is relevant to you (or if you think it may be relevant to others) it's best to start a new topic (for the reasons stated above). This way, your specific issue or concern is addressed.

To start a new topic, simply click on the icon that is titled "add new topic" (located right above the blue bar showing the topics, started by, etc.)
