I am new to the website and am wondering if the Discussion topics are searchable. Instead of posting a question about something that has already been covered, I’d rather search that topic and read up on it. Since I live in Florida, it would be very helpful to be able to search for the word “Florida”, then read issues and responses specific to Florida’s HOA laws.

This site doesn't have a search function but you can use Google to do mostly the same thing.

Enter "Florida site:hoatalk.com" in the search bar and you'll find a list of discussions where Florida is mentioned. Add additional search items to refine the search; eg. "Florida HOA pool site:hoatalk.com".

The search function at present disappoints time and again. Like CathyA3 posted, I end up using google and still cannot locate, for one, posts that are old enough that I would think they should come up with google searches. RC4, I think you might be better off just asking your question.

Since the topic is "Discussion"... I'm new here also. Actually used to be here years ago, but new again!

I find no edit topic or comments feature and no delete feature. Are there such functions that I'm missing?
