More detail on what happened, what the HOA is responsible for, what is it they are not doing, etc, etc. Also, the '.' is your friend and makes what you write a lot easier to read.

Who do you think the HOA is? This is the roof contractor's issue that the HOA hired to do the work. The HOA's only recourse is to contact the roofers or hire new roofers. Which sounds like they did the first option of contacting the original roofers who did the work as they are responsible. Plus by law the roofers MUST be given the opportunity to fix the issue before the HOA can do anything else.

Jeanetta,

If you will provide lots of details you will get more thoughts on what to do.

If the water damage is in your unit call your insurance and let them deal with it.

Is your HOA a condominium, subject to FS 718? Or not a condominium and subject to FS 720?
