My H.O.A manager put me and my family on youtube...the board told her to remove but its been years and its still up....wut can i do about this ?? there are multiple cameras on my home looking in my home

You can report it to YOUTUBE and request it be taken down. They have a contact on their site to do so. Just say it is being posted without consent. They should respond to you about your options. Can not say it can be removed if you do not own the video. That will all depend on YOUTUBE Rules.

You go to YouTube website and report it. May need to sign up for an account. Which I don't know many people who don't have a YouTube account. It allows you to customize what you want to see. Every website has a help desk to report things to. YouTube has their own to report. It's all on YouTube what you need to do. It's NOT on the HOA. It's called responsibility and doing the work...

I suggest you google for a personal injury attorney in your city and seek a free consultation. Do not arrange to take the youtube video down until the attorney sees it.

What is in public view isn't protected. The outside of your home is PUBLIC view. The inside of your house you can expect some aspects of privacy except in front of an open window. Just a video of the outside of your home isn't an expectation of privacy. Once you leave your home you can't expect privacy. Your being filmed even at a stop light.

If the video shows a minor, then you have stronger grounds for taking the video down. At least that's the law here. If not, then your case is weaker.

yes i totally understand that...but in my HOA?? we have 170 cameras lol i dint agree to be put on youtube....and the board told her to take it down....i have it in writing..

This sounds like it's just the HOA's security system. He keeps referring to a "Her" and not the HOA. The "her" I am sure is the MC. Maybe they use YouTube as a way to view the security system? They could have also posted it because of some crazy behavior?

I worked for a company that someone reported to us they caught a robbery on tape. Someone uploaded it to YouTube. They wanted a copy of it to prove the crime to the police. Maybe this is a similar situation where they posted video from surveillance cameras. Which if it is from them, may not be illegal. It's public view.

Unfortunately, I think Ron really needs some help beyond what we can give here. I suspect Ron is a very religious man who doesn't believe in birth control... Highly doubt he can see out of his own head.

No. Furthermore,if my HOA set up a camera and it caught any part of my interior, or caught me or anyone living in my house as they entered or left my house, then the chances of me arranging for the camera to disappear are high. At a minimum, I believe this is an unlawful invasion of privacy and harassment. No HOA's governing documents give a board authority to surveil a person's home.
