I subscribe to several e-newsletters in my job and occasionally come across some that could be helpful to HOA board members. Here's one discussing how leadership will change in this decade - although the target audience is business leaders, I think it can also be useful to HOA board members.
In the midst of our discussions on rule enforcement, amending documents, budgets, reserves, etc., etc., etc., there should be space for pondering how to become better leaders, because that's what HOA board members are, for better or worse. Sometimes the "soft skills" can make a difference in how to approach a problem or even prevent them. Enjoy!
