How does joining the Homeowners Association make a difference?

People joining hand in hand with others to get something done is how our nation was created. Together we can do what none of us can do alone. If you think you have a lot of impact as an individual, think what we can do as a group.

Why should I join? Don’t I get the same benefits anyway?

No you don’t. You have no voice in what we do. You will not have a vote in negotiating priorities, or whom to elect as association officers.

Membership is voluntary.

No one is forced to join, but because we are a group of people working together in unity to achieve common goals and go beyond the (traditional). We are proud to have been elected to the board of our Homeowners Association.

Rather than relying upon possibly misleading comments you may have heard about Homeowner Associations in the media or vague rumors that circulate from time to time, please come to our Homeowner Association meetings, they are the last Monday in each month and try to attend our Community functions and activities.

What we want for you is what we want for ourselves. A beautiful safe community and a place we are proud to call home.

JamesM5 - Not sure who your post is addressed to or the exact purpose? You make a valid argument that a group can accomplish more than just one individual, especially in an environment where more than one vote is required to get something ratified the right way. However, sometimes, one person can have a tremendous impact and make a difference.
