What are the requirements in CA for Quartley Board Meetings, i.e. how many are required per year. I cannot find anything in the CC&R's or Rules. Is there a set number by law?

Usually the number of board meetings required in a year are in you bylaws. Our bylaws require board meeting at least quarterly, but we have so much business to conduct that we have board meetings monthly.

You might check Calif Corporations Codes, which I believe also specify at least quarterly board meetings.

How are you handling this situation now?

I agree. The number of BOD Meetings are typically in the Bylaws and generally will be stipulated as Monthly, Quarterly, or as loose as when needed.

By law an association must have an Annual Meeting and typically have to notify each owner of time, place, and provide an Agenda. This must be done 30 days in advance via a US Mail mailing.

Do not confuse BOD Meetings, Annual Meetings and Special Meetings. They are separate items.
