Hello all,
We have very limited space and not guest parking in our garage. NONE. the only exception is if the titled deeded owner of the space wishes to have thier goes park in our garage that ok. No other spaces are available. We have a couple disabled spaces which are for residents use only. Signage and rules support this. the other day there wa an unknown care in one of the disabled spaces. It was a car that the board was maybe 80% sure didn't belong here, but they didn't wish to tow it because "they weren't certain".
I was thinking that maybe its time to have our owner register their cars or have parking permits hangers, or stickers on their vehicles. A few years back there was a very nice high end vehicle that parked in one of our owners spaces. We assumed it was theirs or a guest.. non the less it wasn't a brother.. until.. we found out that the person with the 80K Escalade lived around the corner and was using our garage to park their vehicle secure instead of parking on the street which is what her apartment allowed.
Is there a method that works, or doesn't. Does your HOA keep ledgers of cars, or have the owners use permits. The use of the disabled space was sorted out, and it was not a resident who lives here.... despite having signs and rules. people try to challenge. Please advise on your experience or if you have ideas/ feedback for vehicle registration.
