Hi!
This of late has been a real issue!! Example there was a change work order on a project of ours. This required an emergency meeting to keep things rolling along. Last week the information was given , all agreed to meeting date and time. 1 day before the meeting a board member is claiming that they don’t agree with the bid, and feel more work etc etc etc. Same board member works in tandem with another questioning projects to death to the point of delays. They both showed up to an emergency meeting not ready to vote and asking questions only the vendor could answer. I feel there is a real reason why they appear to go over board with stall tactics. Emergency meetings are needed at times due to unforeseen issues and to let us all set a date then start asking delaying questions the day before seems to be the ammo. Suggestions are really appreciated.

Vote. If they can't make up their minds, so be it. Make a motion to vote and vote.

What Richard said. When you get proposals or whatever the must review before voting, it's your responsibility as a board member to read the stuff, ask questions and then vote. Sometimes a vote may be scary to take, but indecision is just as bad. Make the decision and the go with it - if something goes wrong, fix it, learn from it and go on to the next thing

Yes.

As you describe things- voting no will result in delay and possibly additional cost. So be it. If you end up losing the vote make sure the persons voting are noted in the minutes.

Perfect efficiency is not always achievable. This is not the end of the world.

What is the point of posting all this - especially since the rules of this board state the actual names of HOAs are not to be used? The end of all this stuff also has what looks like someone's actual email address. What in the hell is wrong with you - posting private information???

If you have a question behind all this, ask it and summarize everything else. And read the posting rules before you do so and follow them!

That is all.

devil's advocate:

filed court documents are (generally) public records

'most' email addresses are actually published in directories

Did I miss something? I don't have any private information I posted.. or was it another response? Your response concerns me greatly.

There was another poster prior to you Nicole that had hijacked several threads. The moderator removed them. However, think some responses were still left over. The poster had posted several offensive words and names of people/HOA.
