Our HOA allows chain link or vinyl fences. I put up a four foot chain link and now realize I need privacy on one side of our patio.
The HOA bans the use of any type of food fencing.
If I want to put up a six foot fence on my patio can they enforce it still as a fencing rule? What If it is not a permanent structure, like a horizontal reclining awning, or something that can be moved because it is not in the ground?
It appears I will have to request a vinyl fence to cover my patio side, which will be expensive.
We have a retired person next to us that likes to spy and ease drop on our conversations. His screened in patio has clever material on his screens that camouflage his presence and it is like 10 feet from us. We want some privacy from the annoying neighbor!
Do I have an ability to stand up a temporary barrier on side of patio they cannot prohibit?
