We have been(for over a yea), attempting to come up with the proper signage for a) the spa, b) the swimming pool, and c) the workout room.

We are almost at dead-end on wording... Ironically, much of the problem is around(among other thing) age to be in the hot tub....the pol... the workout room... Any suggestions?

there are many laws regarding what is required for signage for pools, spas, etc

start with federal laws, then state laws, next local laws.

Once again the amateur volunteer directors are attempting reinvent the wheel by 'thinking' instead of merely complying with the law and the covenants.

There is no 'what shall we post' merely what does the authority having jurisdiction (? dept of health, dept of environmental control, the license authority for the pool ?) REQUIRE to be posted.

All other 'rules' are tauric ka-ka.

sheez .... here we go 'round the mulberry bush, the mulberry ....

ps.

the authority having jurisdiction will have any age restrictions as a signage requirement

y'all had best NOT, repeat NOT, attempt to apply age restrictions on your own

As others wrote, Alex, look up your local codes. Why your board hasn't done the already is sort of mysterious.

Our pools, for instance have signs required by our city and then a few of our own rules.

Since newborns are allowed to be in the hot tub per FHA rules and regs. I would suggest going to a pool supply store like Lesie's and purchasing a pre-made sign with universally accepted pool rules on it.
