I am with a small HOA in New Mexico. Some on the board have decided that they want to vote any unused proxy. What they are saying is that if we send out proxys and get 10% back, that the board should be able to vote the remaining 90% that were not returned. They donot have a clue what they are doing.

The Board would have to show you where they get that power- in the bylaws, or state regulations permitting to use unreturned proxies.

Didn't we just see a similar question? Anyway, to summarize the responses to that thread: unused, unsigned proxies have no value whatsoever, except maybe as liners for the budgie's cage.

Duplicate thread was posted twice a week ago on the 3rd. It bothers me to see 'proxies' misspelled not once, but twice in the topic list.
