Is there anyone out there conversant enough with New Mexico Codes and Statutes that govern the conduct and operation of an HOA in New Mexico to be able to tell me how and where to find them? I've looked forever thru state websites with little success.

Finding anything on the NM state government website is nearly impossible. How anyone finds anything there is beyond me.

Here is the link for the NM Statutes. You need to then click on chapter 53 (Corporations), and then on Art. 8.

Do you have a specific question? I have written bylaws, revised them, etc., and have served on HOA boards. The statutes do give some specifics, but not a whole lot. Your HOA bylaws should be the document you need to be referring to. Of course, they shouldn't contradict the statutes.
