We are looking to establish a camera system for our boatyard, but are having a hard time finding options that do not use wifi. (No wifi is available.) Has anyone found a suitable camera that works without Wifi? Thanks!

Mike,

If you don't have Wifi availability, you will need a room or cage that houses the recorder at the boat yard.

There are also cameras that utilize cell phone technology.

An internet search or a call to a local company can help.
If you call a company, explain that the Association is gathering information and they will be included in the bid process when it gets that far.

Any of the retail available surveillance systems like Swann or Lorex can work standalone without wifi; but if there is an incident, you need to take a tv with you to view the footage. If you have cell service that works at the boathouse, you can connect the surveillance system to a pocket wifi, and remote login from anywhere.

If you have cell service at the location and you don't want to win wires, Arlo and Ring have some nice wifi surveillance systems that can connect to a pocket wifi.
I have a pocket wifi that cost me $200 from AT&T it is the Nighthawk from Netgear. It runs a wifi signal and has a RJ45 jack so you can run a router off it, service cost me an extra $20.00 per month.
