Our HOA annual meeting is scheduled for next month. During this annual meeting we elect 5 directors who in turn, elect officers. Typically the directors also serve as officers. Our community is made up of 18 homes located in middle TN. The current board has been place for 2 years. The board sent out a letter requesting interested parties to complete the enclosed BOD nomination form if interested in serving on the board. The response was again zero nomination forms returned. The current board members are willing to serve another year. Since there are only 5 residents willing to serve and all are current directors, is there a need to have an election? There can only be one outcome which we already know. There are other discussion topics and the board plans to have the meeting. Just wondering about the election. Thank you!
