I have been an oilfield engineer for 11 years and was laid off during a downturn in 2016. As a result, I worked as a Community Manager for an HOA Management Company for over 4 months before my old boss was calling me back to work for 2.5 times the money.

I had an idea one day and blurted out "why isn't there a mini google street view for HOA violations?" to my manager. I kept being told how great of an idea I had. I talked to several people that were interested, but just weren't willing to commit the resources to proceed.

Fast forward over 2 years and I have Version 1 complete of what I'm calling HOA FlashDrive. It's a functional way to capture images of EVERY home EVERY drive. Those images are then reviewed and marked on my website. All of this can be done with less employees and less liability, thus saving the HOA/HOA Management Company significant money and providing photos of every home for multiple purposes.

I have an 84 second promo video, but it won't attach on here

I am starting the process of just trying to get in front of some people in the business to figure out my best way forward. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts/help you have!

Thanks,
Glenn

This is a positive place for community association leaders to share ideas and learn. This forum is for community association Boards, Committees, Volunteers & HOA Professionals to discuss topics concerning their association duties.

Topics from individual homeowners, who are not acting as association volunteers, may be addressed if the person has come here to learn in a positive way.

We have only a few other rules:

(1) Post any relevant topic you like, but please keep it clean, helpful, positive and friendly.

(2) No Selling: No solicitation, advertising, or selling of any kind is allowed here, except for occasional announcements from official site sponsors.

(3) No Mention of Community/Company/Person Names: In order to fairly enforce (2) and prevent liability, we do not allow the mentioning of any community name, company name or product. Please also do not post the full name of any person.
