Has there ever been any type of memo that was sent or could be sent to condo owners concerning the pet situation, i.e. must be on a leash, must carry their own bags/scoops for pet poop pick up, etc?

Norman, following is one example:
5) Household pets must be under control on a leash when not secured in the house or in a fenced yard. It is a violation for an animal to threaten or attack a person or another animal; the Owner shall be responsible for all costs if any medical treatment is required. Excrement shall be cleaned up immediately. Pets that bark or make other noises which irritate neighbors are a violation, except for brief barking of dogs as people pass by.

I'm confused. Is this "memo" reminding them of existing rules or are you just making up these rules as you type up this memo? If no pet rules have been established by your board in the method required by your documents, then this memo is inappropriate. Harold

Harold, what I posted is part of the Rules and Regulations on Enforcement of Covenants and Rules which was establish as a Rule by the Board. Just sending out an unofficial memo would not have any authority.

Roger - Sorry, I was asking Norman those questions. I understand your suggestion wss for rules already in place. I still am not sure if Norman's board has/had rules in place or not before sending a memo. Harold

There are NO rules in place yet... Yes, I will get(as Roger suggeted) a copy of tdhe city ordnance rules, etc etc and start from there.
