How should the election of the BOD be documented/certified? Our last annual meeting minutes currently just state who won and who the inspectors were. That seems incomplete to me.

Shouldn't the minutes of the annual meeting include the number of proxies received, as well as the votes cast for each individual. Also, we had one candidate drop out. Homeowners were allowed to change their proxy, but if people didn't do that and there were votes for the third candidate, shouldn't they also show up in the minutes?

Is there anything else that should be included?

Minutes should just show final results not all the drama. Again, read the Davis-Stirling Act. You ask questions but you coulod also do a little research on oyur own...Good Luck

Thanks Larry. I will read the Act.

I have my own personal viewpoints on most of the questions I ask. However, this forum encourages different perspectives-which helps me figure out if my own viewpoints are reasonable or unreasonable.

Larry, I've been reading everything I can get my hands on. CAI's books "Be Reasonable!" and "Reinventing the Rules" have become my bibles lately. My viewpoints are completely in line with these publications; however, they are not in line with some of the other board members. So I have to tread lightly and really have my ducks in a row.

PS. I think I'm about out of questions. ;-)
