Does any one have info on typical annual costs for IT maintenance, 1 computer and web page maintenance.Perhaps a percentage of revenue would be helpful.

Our HOA is 189 houses.

I set up and maintain a website ... it is $300 a year.

This is a simple thing these days.

I do the web site for a 74-unit condo community. It's roughly $100 per year for web site hosting and domain registration, everything else is pro bono. I've checked out some companies that provide this service; for my community it would cost roughly $1000 for set up and several hundred dollars per year to maintain a site with a comparable level of functionality. Prices tend to vary by the number of units in a community as well as the web site's complexity; a basic web site would cost less. You're mostly paying for the amount of work the company has to do.

Our property management company has their own IT staff, so we don't have to deal with anything other than the web site. Self managed communities would have to worry about this stuff; hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

$0 - zero

There are plenty of free products that are very functional and easy to use.

Google docs - stores all the HOA documents and allows people to click and download PDF, word, excel, etc...
Google Blogger - Have a simple HOA site, easy for anyone to update by typing and clicking save.

Its an HOA, it doesnt need a super fancy site that hardly anyone ever visits.

Complicated IT solutions just cause high IT costs.
Simple solutions anyone can do with just a little knowledge = no cost

Percentage of revenue is not relevant.

Would your HOA pay $100 for a gallon of gas if it was a huge HOA? Or would you pay market price of $3 gallon.

About $105/year for the web address and hosting. I volunteer my time to update it four times a year. It's a VERY passive website.
