I'm researching Nevada's Open Meeting Laws and attempting to determine whether open meeting laws apply to HOA Boards. Does anyone have any information that would be helpful?

We have only one NV poster here and she doesn't respond much of the time. I think you do have them for NV HOAs. to search online, yu need to know what HOAs actually are called in NV as the statutes probably have that in their verbiage.

Try googling Open meeting laws in NV HOAs or any other language that might sound right.

James,

Typically, "open meeting laws" apply to governmental bodies.

You should look at the applicable property laws to see if open meetings are required or not.

CHAPTER 116 - COMMON-INTEREST OWNERSHIP (UNIFORM ACT)
or
CHAPTER 117 - CONDOMINIUMS
