The question remains ... how many folks with reasonable and answerable questions has PaaN put off from asking or following up due to his aggressive tone - regardless of his accuracy.

With all due respect, George, when you own and run the forum then you can make the rules. If it was my forum I'd change the software to, among other things, permit users to "hide" or "block" other posters if they want. I think the ability to edit one's own posts would be a higher priority though

The rules specifically say 'Friendly and helpful'. And please don't forget this poster is not as accurate as he claims, which makes the antagonism even worse. Antagonizing posters with INACCURATE information.

Topics from individual homeowners, who are not acting as association volunteers, may be addressed if the person has come here to learn in a positive way.
I interpret the above to EXCLUDE those who are shopping for vindication of their 'opposite to the HOA's viewpoint' after they have NOT read their documents and NOT done their homework.
It is with THEM that PITA appears to be brusque.
