Every HOA software for which i search seems to run the buildings and its meant for building management.

Does anyone know of any software that is useful for just running the board itself? Any ideas appreciated.

You don't know what a board does?

I'm pretty sure Richard knows. What do YOU want the software to do?

Email.

Microsoft Word or agreed upon common word processing format.

Adobe Acrobat Reader and conversion for documents requiring Configuration Management.

Microsoft Excel or agreed upon common spreadsheet software.

There is at least one free website hosting source, and many low cost website hosting sources.

Are you running a Board, or running an Association? I know what running an association, not sure about running a Board. There could be a distinct difference whether you are self-managed or have a management company.

Whoops - I just saw HomE response to Richard ... funny given how much Richard does know.

HomE - the point is "running a Board" is usually pretty straightforward - requires general management skills, and a bit of relatively modern IT tools, but running an HOA could be somewhat different depending on the size and type, etc. The scale runs from basic S/W like I pointed out, to Management Company ... as Richard kindly pointed out.

Now, it's your turn to give us enough details so we know enough about your needs, size of HOA, type of HOA, MC or not, etc, etc.

Pretend the folks here have some background - it also helps to get more and better answer if you don't respond flippantly.
