Hello,

Our 9 unit apartment building has a door bell intercom buzzer system that needs to be replaced. Does anyone have any experience in this? Cost, solutions etc.

Currently the system does 3 things when working properly: door bell rings, communicate when you push the button, press buzzer to unlock door. Ideally we would like all 3 but I am open to any creative solutions.

Companies like Nest and Ring have been created an inexpensive wireless solution for single family homes. Has that tech made its way to multi unit buildings yet? Are there any apps that can do what I am looking to do at a fraction of the cost?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I would think this is a standard product line - my initial s arch showed several product lines.

If your wiring is still in place, why would you want to replace it with a wireless system?

Additional capabilities like video might require additional type of wiring, like power and Ethernet - but you sId only the basic three, right.

It only works intermittently and we were told by an intercom company that it all needed to be rewired and replaced. But I tend to be skeptical about that.

I was hoping a wireless solution would be cheaper.
