A search of Discussion Topics yielded nothing. Is there anyone from an Ohio HOA willing to share samples of their HOA Pre-Lien letters to homeowners and Notice of Lien filings as recorded with the County Recorders Office. Please redact any data identifying individuals involved.

Most notices like lien/foreclosure are posted in a public resource like a local newspaper. It has to be given publicly. Usually a copy I would send certified to the HOA address. If they live somewhere else, need to deliver a letter there.

We have a policy of 6 months we lien and 1 year we consider a foreclosure. Do you have such a policy in place? Just giving you a few tips when pursuing a lien. Make sure it's not just random. Need to have an established line when to lien. Otherwise, it may come across wrong.
