Does anyone know the answer to this....It is not(to my knowledge) in our documents anyplace....A Board member has her unit up for sale and has had it up for sale for 3 months..Supposedly it is going to be closed on very soon.....Does that Board member have the right to remain on the Board and get involved in serious matters even though she will be off the Board in the near future?

Yip. If she's still an owner she can be on the board.

Since your documents are silent on qualifiers (i.e. Directors must be owners/members), technically, they may stay on the board until they resign, recalled or a replacement is elected by the membership.

I agree with the others but would add that, even if she has to be an owner to serve on the board, there would be no reason why she couldn't remain on the board until the sale closes.
