If not allowed I apologize and I will remove - is there anyone willing to speak with me over the phone regarding an issue? I don’t know who to ask and going to our attorney and PM is not the route I am looking to take right now. I know this is vague but it’s an issue I am not really sure I can word correctly here. I am a current president of an association.

Welcome to the forum. To help those out here we don't recommend you mention the name of your HOA. It helps with keeping yourself anomalous and your HOA. We don't typically phone anyone. It's best to email between each other with an email that doesn't reveal personal information.

Don't be too afraid to discuss things here as long as you don't use names or identifiers. Your a HOA President you most likely need to have approval from the board prior to contacting the HOA lawyer. You may be the main point of contact but you should have permission/approval first. Any situation that may need legal consultation should be discussed anyways amongst the board. Most things can be resolved without legal help.

We are NOT lawyers here and each state/HOA rules/laws vary. We can just give you guidance into a direction. Just don't quote us...
