Hello all,

Any idea where we would go to get building plans? We are trying to determine where pipes are running and the property manager is next to useless.

Is your HOA detached homes? Or condos? Or what??

How old is the HOA? Wouldn't your local Building or Planning Dept. have a copy of the as-built drawings?

I would start with the planning dept or building and permits dept of the city in which the project resides and then at the county level.

In addition, depending on the age of the complex, you want try the actual developer, if they are still in business.

Using the PLAT, I was able to track down the architect.
They were happy to send a copy of what they had.

I have no idea what PLAT is. The developer isn't around anymore but the complex is only 12 years old.

the PLAT is a drawing of the entire development.
It should be available at the city/county records office.
