Hello everyone,

I am looking for a properly formated "legal" petition so we can get another pool in our subdivision. Do you have one I can look at?

Thanks,

Ron

Your commmunity wants a pool? You need to ask alot of questions and have answers before the community petitions such things. Do you have the room for it? Will it be covered by insurance? Will there be limited access? How will access be controlled?

My biggest concern is: Who's going to pay for this pool and continued insurance? Pools don't pay for themselves and neither does their upkeep. Is your community prepared not only to act together to put in a pool but to also keep up with the continued maintenance?

If your community has answered these questions and more, then a petition should be easy. Just write a paragraph describing the project on a piece of paper and then get the owner's to sign their names, addresses, and other contact information. Make sure that the people signing are the owners and NOT renters.

Do you have a HOA and that is why a petition is needed? NOT overall sure what a petition will accomplish if there is no one in charge of the ultimate project. It could just be a piece of paper with a bunch of signatures on it. There has to be more behind that to get the pool done.

Please post more details on your set-up so one can answer with better information. Thanks.
