If this is an inappropriate place to post such a question, please let me know, and feel free to remove the post.

We have a small 17 property HOA and am responsible for the maintenance of a small private paved road which is approximately 15 years old and in need of a professional assessment to determine the maintenance requirements so we can budget accordingly. Does anybody know who we would call for such an assessment? I'm not even sure what to Google to find out. Any suggestions?

This post seems fine to me and well suited to this forum.

In our county, the gated community ordinance requires us to have a professional engineering inspection of all privately owned infrastructure, including roads, storm drainage systems, etc. every three years. This costs us $2500 for our 65 home community. The forum rules prohibit posting company names so I won't post here, but if you want to reply with your email address I can let you know who we use. They have offices all over Florida, including Pinellas and Hillsborough county.

Forgot to add that if you want to search, "professional engineers near Tampa" would probably be your best term.

We are located in Hillsborough County and a quick Google search brought up a lot of returns. I'll let you know if I need any more help in the future. Unless I'm overlooking something, call this thread solved!
