We will be interviewing and selecting a management company at a special meeting. Any correct ways to word this in the agenda? This will be the only topic. A minority of members do not like changing companies.

In CA, agendas may not be vague, so we'd write Interview Prospective Management Companies.

In CA, we'd be able to do this in executive session if we wished. But I think in FL, you must interview reps of these firms in an open meeting?

The decision to change MC's is the BOD's decision, not the members decision. Simply list the subject in the Agenda.

Remember John and Ron ---the answer is always IF it is according to the HOA's bylaws. SOME HOA have requirements that changing the management company is a majority homeowners vote and some do not. NOTHING IS SET AS ALWAYS IN THE HOA WORLD
