Looking for some insight regarding Illinois HOA, I'm the President of a Master with Townhomes and Condos incorporated - so many questions. Anyone well versed with Illinois?

We are familiar with generalities of HOA's but the specifics for each state is pretty much for the poster to research. If you need advice on how to handle something feel free to ask. It may not apply to your specific state but your situation.

I would recommend reviewing and learning yoiur governing documents and State Laws. You have not state whether you are an HOA or a Condo.

Here is your HOA statutes:
http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs4.asp?ActID=3273&ChapterID=62&SeqStart=100000&SeqEnd=1850000

Here is your Condo statutes:
http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs3.asp?ActID=2200

I have a large binder with copies of my various HOA documents and State Laws. I then have highlighted pertinent information with different highlighted colors so I can quickly look and review with regards to various issues. (Example: Developer related items are highlighted in orange, owner items in yellow, etc.)

When you say Master are there incorporated sub-associations with their own Covenants, Bylaws, Rues, amenities, etc. under the Master or is one association with just different type units?
